Little Angels recognises the importance of its staff and has a tough and stringent recruitment process to ensure that all staff employed have the necessary qualifications, commitment and passion to work within the Nursery and with the children.
Within the team we aim to strike a balance between experienced mums, recently and newly qualified staff and those with years of experience to ensure the environment and programme of learning is exceptional. The team is lead by a fully qualified Nursery Manager and Deputy who are responsible for the day to day running of the Nursery and are excluded from the daily ratios and are thus always available to help and advise.
We are committed to providing our staff with continuous ongoing training involving many in-house events covering aspects such as Health and Safety and child centred learning along with external courses such as child protection and behaviour management to develop and enhance the staff’s skills and ensure they are following the latest policies and procedures and styles of learning.
We also have numerous qualified First Aiders on-site at all times and the majority of our team hold an up-to-date Food Hygiene Certificate.
Our team consist of full and part time staff, which ensures cover for those who are on holiday, sickness, or away on training. This also enables us to maintain the ratios which are required daily.
